WOW! What a ride. A few months back, I posted my entire collection. I wasn’t quite sure what to do, but knew I had to get my collection into a manageable number. At the time I had 54 watches but was really only wearing three or four. I started thinning them out. I used the proceeds from the first sell off to fund my Gevril. Another watch is also inbound from the proceeds of my more recent sales.
With the help of some sound advice from a couple of friends, I went through each watch and considered:
1. Will I want to wear this watch when I am 80?
2. Do I want it to stay in the family?
Tough decisions . . . I am happy with the end results.

I think I love divers; particularly the Submariner and its derivatives. I have three watches on my wish list:
• Breitling
• Rolex GMT
• Tudor Hydronaut with an orange dial
Respectively, they will replace:
• Chase Durer and SAN GMT
• Croton
• Oceanaire
The only other watch component I know I want is an original mesh band for my Planet Ocean. It has been a fun journey. I do not regret any of the watches I have owned. I hope those who picked them up are enjoying them to the fullest.
