Fortunate to be in to watches?

Ever think that we are very fortunate to be in to watches? Not that there aren't countless
other hobbies that are great also that we enjoy. Just that this hobby seems to have so
many different parts, or aspects to it. There are countless watches from the past, and
also the present, an infinite amount of watch brands, styles, and types. On top of that
it seems like there is always a new watch, or watch company to be discovered. Or even
an older company that you find out about. It's pretty amazing.

Add to that all of the movements, watch makers, and history, and it just adds up to a lot
of enjoyment, and fun. Plus there are things like watch modding where you have some of
the coolest creations from people imaginable. Along with all of the different watch parts, and
also accessories like straps, and bracelets to get into that could be a hobbies all by them-
selves.

Then there is getting the chance to talk with others about this hobby every day. That is
probably one of the nicest parts. Honestly, makes this hobby seem almost limitless.

So what do you think? Aren't we fortunate to be interested in watches?

Also, what aspects do you enjoy most about the hobby? Maybe it's one of the things above,
or something else entirely that you like most. Any opinions, or thoughts?

It's certainly a hobby with many different aspects. With improving technology in materials, manufacturing, and design, there is no end in sight. Personally, I enjoy the search for and then the hunt to acquire the next watch I just have to have. Everyone has their own way of looking at things and sometimes you can learn from others experiences as well as your own. Just the fact that I can and do interact with other watch lovers around the world makes this hobby unique compared to several other hobbies that I enjoy.
