| Great stuff Gary, between you and Tom my interest in these vintage pieces has peaked and there is a guy in town who has alot of old pieces (alot of junk but some good stuff too) and everytime i'm ready to buy i worry about the watch size!! Need to get over it and just grab a few!! |

| What's the diameter Gary?
I'm not big on lizard straps, but boy, does it fit on that watch. Perfect. |

It's 35mm....I would never be able to wear a modern watch this size, (38mm is about my limit) but with something like this it's OK. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | It doesn't look 35. Looks a bit larger (and don't say you've got girlie wrists ). I'm with you on the 38, (several I have are 40) I'll go to about 45max. I just tried a 38mm on and liked it. Wittnauer's are still cool after all these years. |

DUDE!! I have manly 8.5 inch wrists.... . Maybe the perfect rounded shape allows me to pull off something this small...... ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... Member NAWCC, National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors | |

| Classy!!! I love the almost Deco numbers; 35mm is a bit small for my tastes but I LOVE that styling! |

| Astonishingly EXCELLENT Wittnauer Gary ! Looks like the polishing and service paid off big time. This watch is in such great shape..WOW ! The dial is just trememndous and it looks like it goes up in the middle..REALLY cool. Those markers and little dots in the middle of the dial are a neat touch also. It's just stunning !..Classy strap too ! Congrats ! ____________________________________ | |

Wow what a compliment....I never thought I would be mentioned in the same post as Tom, his watches are so much nicer than mine....I am the quanity guy and he is the quality guy, I guess. I love the history of these older pieces, the materials, the design, etc. (everything but the size)....Thanks!! ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | . . . Amazing watch! Bevel on the case to the crystal is very elegant. When it comed to a watch of that class and quality, size is not even percieved in it's appearance. it would look wrong IMO any larger than it is. The lizard is perfect!!!! |
