The postman just delivered this nice Seiko to my door. It's the first Seiko in my collection. I'm sure most of you guys know the specs already:

...42mm x 45mm x 13mm case
...Screw-down crown
...Uni-directional bezel
...23mm lug width (never seen that before!)
...Folded steel "Jubilee" bracelet with "Seiko" double-locking clasp
...200M water resistance
...21-jewel automatic (not sure of the calibre)

I'm not sure of the significance of some dial writing, so there's a close-up at the end of this post.

Hey Tom, congrats on your first Seiko here ! Very Happy You really picked out a nice one that
is for sure. Have always liked the pepsi bezel look, and this Seiko seems to do it just
perfectly. It also just seems to have that special something about it that makes the
watch VERY memorable, and a great addition to any collection imho. Congratulations
to you ! Seiko in the house! 803574 ..Going back to the bezel for a second. The way in which the blue,
along with red look is fantastic, and Seiko really got the tone of the colors just right
also. They are not too light, and not too dark, and are both classy, as well as sporty.
Even the numbers, along with markers bring some extra character to the bezel with
how they mix smaller dot markings, with the larger main markers. It just makes for
a classic type of formula if you ask me. A formula that can easily stand the test of
time, and be enjoyed forever. ..The rest of the watch is a huge part of this also though.
The bezel is only the beginning of what is memorable with this one. The case is also
classic with it's smooth, curvy shape that takes the best of yesterday's divers, and
adds it to today's modern themes. The polishing, the case-back, along with the
positioning of the crown all help to accentuate the case as well. In addition, this style
of bracelet helps to set off the case too. You get that back, and forth of small, and
large links. Plus an excellent finish that at times looks to be mirroring different themes
with the coin edge on the bezel. It's really beautiful ! So is the DIAL though, with it's
spectacular shaped markers, and hands that somehow manage to be traditional, and
almost extra terrestrial TOO. Once again Tom, congrats on such a FANTASTIC watch.
..ENJOY ! Very Happy

Fantastic watch, AND pics as always !
