Today's arrival is one of the lesser known Heuer watches. And as such, not as desirable to Heuer collectors. For this reason it tends to be more affordable on the second hand market. It's a Camaro Ref. 73345 T, powered by a manual wind Valjoux 7730 movement. It has a gold plated cushion case with a brushed finish on the upper part of the case. It measures 37mm across not including the crown, and 43mm from lug to lug. It measures only 12mm high and is fitted with a 19mm strap.

This particular example had a mildly scratched plexi crystal and the case was heavily tarnished . Most of the gold finish on the crown is gone, and one of the pusher caps has been replaced. However the chrono functions well and the movement is providing accurate time, at least in the short term.

A few minutes spent with Polywatch on the crystal, and using a fiberglass brush and a product called NEVR-DULL on the case, and the results are quite acceptable. My 'Heuer friends' have a NOS gold case and pushers and a NOS crystal, but if it were me, I'd have it serviced, and wear it proudly, just the way it is.

Here are a few pictures.

Extraordinary watch, and work on this one once again Rick ! Another Lesson In Vintage Heuers 803574 Another Lesson In Vintage Heuers 803574
The way that brushing looks on the top of the case is out of this
world imho. Also love the mixing of golds, and how they work
with the dark sub-dials, and markers. Amazing ! ..Enjoy this !
