Finally Made It

Hey there ALL.

Heard about this place but didn't know where it was till Northwestguy clued me in after a Wilde-Beast sale today.

Damn glad to be here with some of my old WG buddies (my first watch forum).

About me...
Older dude but still pretty cool - at least that's what I keep tellin myself.
Used to be in the Digital FX biz for movies, TV and theme park rides.
Now do Digital Content Design for advanced graphics engineers that can't make cool art - just cool tech.
Other hobbies are Photography, Bass Guitar, and FX Movies (of course).

Watches...
Was always a geek but didn't really come out (so to speak), till ~5 years ago when I saw a Lupah on a plane to LA a couple rows up that I just had to have. Scoured LA till I found it and bought 2. Then found SNBC and the rest is history some ~100 watches later.

Mainly started as a fashion statement but has recently evolved into higher end pieces. As such I own more Invicta's than anything. Followed by Renato.

Last year my collection stepped up a bit with an Omega PO Chrono, a couple Movado 800s, and a Seiko Velatura.

Straight shooter originally from Chicago
Very opinionated (picky) degreed Designer (aren't they all?)
Not into religious wars over quartz/auto, Apple/PC, or Camero/Firebird.
I buy what I like.

In the end I think it was the sales pitch that insulted my intelligence and pissed me off the most.
I mean just how incredible can a piece of metal bent in 4 places be?
