BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Opening weekend. It's the fifth largest tourny after the Slams and Wimbledon.

You're welcome.
Except for a couple of dinners out, (of which I took no pictures of. Part of Our Weekend Lol )it was actually our whole weekend. Got into town about 3pm Friday, and headed home about 10pm Sunday night.

One of my dream vacations is the U.S. Open!

Maybe there will be some good Americans by the time I can go!

Our dream (btw, I no longer own any) would be the French or Wimbledon, but we are trying for a day or two at the US this summer. Plus at least one Yankee game. We haven't been to The City in about a year and a half.

Thanks, Tom. At a big tournie like this, they have several courts going simultaneously. At "Stadium 2" as they call it, it's almost all General Admission, and we lucked out there as well, being about 20 feet from the court, and about 30 feet away from the players. Getting that close to the pro's, makes their games sooooooooooooo much more impressive, while making your own somewhat lacking. Part of Our Weekend Icon_wink Especially when one of them is Andy Roddick with his 136mph serve... friggin' scary.

Sounds outstanding ! It's amazing how much more you can appreciate
a game like that in person. Seeing the speed as well as power in person
is really something else. I guess it's like that with most sports. However,
tennis REALLY looks alot different in person, than on T.V. imho ! Part of Our Weekend 803574

Looks like a nice weekend in the desert. Have'nt been down there since I was a kid when both sets of grandparents wintered in Palm Springs and Indio. Never seen a pro tennis match live it sounds like fun, especially up close to the action.

Yeah but the gap between even him and the top 5 is HUGE...

...but hey, he has made more than I EVER will selling background checks for a living!

Ha, "the skirt???"... she hasn't worn one of those in years. Ex-corporate type (where she had to wear that), now in TV work, way to casual for that. Even on weekends.

EXCELLENT!! It looks like you all had some fun! Especially when you can do it in a suite! I've been in the suites for the Indy 500 and it's definately the way to go!

I'm a little disappointed. Was hoping these would be pics of the GP in Bahrain or the Indy race in Sau Palo

Oh well, with a view like that you pass muster.
Wink

Sounds like a fun time

Man some people got it made. Glad you had such good seats. I would be happy to be able to afford a Bobcats game on a weeknight. Tickets 6 bucks for an NBA game. Part of Our Weekend Icon_scratch Oops sorry. Sweet B chrono. Refer to first sentence.

It wasn't our suite, we were just invited in, through a series of circumstances. The tickets we had were pretty good, but not quite this "suite."
