seiko hands hr/min/sec 1.50/.90/.20

ETA hands hr/min/sec 1.50/.90/.25

Miyota auto hr/min/sec 1.52/1.0/.17

Lots of guys want to mod miyota but nothing is out there, did some research and this is what i came up with! 1.52mm=.05984 a #53 drill bit =.0595 i just ran a bit by hand thru a seiko hour hand and its one the 8215. for the minute hand i taped it to a board and used a cheap small hand crank drill (ace hardware,15 bucks) with a 1.0mm drill bit the seiko minute hand is on(you can use broaches if you find the right sizes but i had no problems with the drill bits! Now the hard part the miyota second hand is smaller but ottofrei has many in different colors just make sure you get the hands that are .17! To the dial get any eta or seiko dial if seiko make sure it's a 3 o'clock crown position, break off the dial feet and use dial adhesive pads to set the dial to the movement

while getting esslinger address i had an email from jay at motorcitywatchworks, i emailed him last night asking about the hands he has confirmed what my testing just did and he will do it for 5 dollars if guy dont want to try yourself! he also told me you can pinch a seiko second hand a hair .20 to make it small enough to fit the .17 pin. he also told me he will have miyota hands in april and as you guys know i wouldnt hesitate to buy from him... parts in the USA 9now if he would get some more dial choices) Hands! Lol
hope this helps and use jay he is great!!!

I'm with you duff and think i will just get a few different hands from ottofrei... 2 bucks each, few different colors and buy the handsets from jay! wished i would have read his email first, most likely would have just paid the 5 bones extra but you know my biz is industrial sales and i got a whole warehouse full of toys to play with! We like to call it product testing, to make sure everything we sell is top notch! now someone might buy a #53 drill bit that just went thru a seiko hour hand but hey it's only brass! Hands! 74725

On the pinching the seconds hand post to get Seiko/ETA hands to fit Miyota, this isn't SOP, but if you gotta have that hand and it isn't available in .17, well, it is your only option. Just be careful, and if you pinch to much don't force the hand on, you can do damage inside the movement.

Miyota hands coming sometime in April, thanks cali kid for the mention. Going to start with Plongeurs, snowflake, and cmaster. More styles and colors will follow later in the year.

There are a few dials on the horizon, the black MOP dials, and this one. Should have the production sample in about 2 weeks and then 3 or 4 more for full production. It is for Seiko, has a day window at 3:00, date window at 4:00, lume is white glows blue. I removed the MCWW text for production.

I've got a folder in my computer full of CAD dials and hands, but as a workin' stiff with family it is always the funds that prevent lots of parts from getting made.
