Great article Doc ! Many times we see, and here about these finishing
techniques, but don't actually know what they are, how they are done,
or why they are done ! THIS explained alot, and answered alot of
questions too. Cool read on watchmaking techniques and finishing Icon_smile It's great seeing all of these watchmaking traditions
have stayed around so long. From mirror polishing, and sandblasting, to
all of the different types of decoration like Geneva stripes, perlage,
bluing screws, and use of red jewels. The red jewel rule was very
interesting by the way. Actually, everything was VERY interesting
in here !..Thanks !!! Cool read on watchmaking techniques and finishing 803574

Cool pictures with the article. Then I followed links, and read about a
couple of wines, truffles, foie gras (a rare favorite)...

I enjoyed the read Doc. Thank you! A little more understanding as to why cost is higher with certain watches. A great deal of care and concern over the work goes a long way in my book!
