Have you had a chance to read about Hanhart being the first watch manufacturer to use HDS
Steel for their watches?!

"Hanhart is the only watch brand in the world to use a certain kind of nickel-free stainless steel
for it's wrist chronograph cases. This steel has been treated using a special finishing process,
making it extremely hard an therefore improving it's scratch resistance by more than 10,000%.
The use of this finishing process is patented for the watch and jewellery making industry under
the name HDSPro."

interesting you posted this Tom, I was just looking at Hanhart's collection a few days ago admiring their Re-issue of the classic 1939 pilot's mechanical

What a cool coincidence Ron. Hanhart's Watchmaking World First 803574 That 1939 pilot's watch is really something special! Everything from
the dial, and hands, to that bezel, and movement are unbelievably nice.

I have always enjoyed Hanhart's. With its 130 years of heritage and their model designs, they are definitely a brand that I would like to own some day!
