| I was at work today on the campus shuttle on my way to a production meeting over at ESPN's production facilities. The ride was going to take about 10 minutes (multiple stops at various buildings), so I was checking my e-mails on my blackberry as we drove along. Towards the end of the trip, we stop by one of the studio buildings and a group of people get on. I really didn't pay any attention to the folks that got on until...somebody grabs my left wrist. I look up and the guy says "I absolutely love that watch". So I take my Speedy Moon off and hand it to him. He said that he always wanted one, but decided to go with the Seamaster instead. He pulled up his coat sleeve and shows me an Omega Seamaster (a SMP like mine). For the rest of the ride, we talked watches...This was actually the first time that I have run into a fellow WIS in the wild! He mentioned wanting a Panerai 112, so I may have a potential buyer for you Alan!! I gave him my card and said that we should get together for lunch to talk watches sometime soon... It is always nice to get a compliment, but it is even nicer to run into somebody who appreciates them and is a fellow watch enthusiast. ____________________________________ M A R K

What I can tell you is that he was definitely an executive level employee. Two tip-offs - He was very well dressed and he had his assistant and a couple suck-ups with him. Nice guy though, pretty genuine...which is hard to find at an entertainment company ____________________________________ M A R K

| Great story, but read my response at DWC.... something about invicta and 52mm plus some koolaid! Got to be cool when someone notices a watch that set the industry on its ear so many years ago1 nothing big or flashy about it, only a real watch guy would notice it! |

| I bet not, something more conservative. Although he could drive that in downtown Salinas, no? I've seen a few chuy-wagons there. |
