Just returned from a great GTG here in Salem, Oregon. merichar, jaw and the lovely mrs jaw (Jocelyn), smellody and myself. Missing were barnbuilder and koimaster. As you would expect.....WATCHES and TALK! Sure was good seeing everyone especially Mark and Jeffrey who traveled down from northern Oregon. Pretty cool that we can get together like this. I always have a good time. Thanks Guys and Lady! I know we'll be doing it again!

Absolutely John, Good time - Great Watches & WatchTalk.

Now I need...

Chris'/Johns: Accutron VX200 7750 (once dismissed it for being too small - never again)
Chris': Omega Railmaster (always knew I needed one)
Mark's: Laco Marine Automatik (was totally clueless on how cool this watch is)
Chris': Vostok Energia (Yellow)
John's: Oris Small Seconds (always wanted this one too)
John's: Mido (for mrs. jaw)
Mark's: Damasko DA36 Automatic (also for mrs jaw)
Chris': Tag (again for mrs jaw)

So thanks a million guys - now I have my work cut out for me.

Saw Mark again at Frys on the way back.
Watches and gadgets - you just can't seem to get enough.

Had a good time as well. Saw some real nice watches in person and enjoyed the good company. Several watches will be added to my list. Was glad to see Johns U1 and Oris small seconds, Jeffreys Zinex Super Sub and Certina chrono. Chris brought the Rolex and Tudor, and even the Smellody XMT. Looking forward to future get togethers.

No, I drove. Thought about flying down but the morning weather around here has been pretty spotty with low ceilings and visibility.
