Woo-hoo! My 1960s Breitling arrived today!

My "new" 1960s Breitling arrived today from Alex at sound_of_time in Canada. Last week the black/orange perforated leather
strap arrived from strappedfortime. I'm thinking the marriage just might work out!

The engine inside is a Venus 178 with 17 jewels (no pics of mine yet).

I also took a couple pics of the Breitling alongside the Heuer Calculator I also bought from Alex recently - - mated to a great heavy
mesh bracelet from strapblog. Nice pair, huh?

Now the question is: which one do I wear???

Nice strap on the Breitling, Tom. Which one...??? Either one in the morning, the other in the afternoon.

NICE Tom !!! ..The watch is just out of this world imho,
and that strap couldn't be better either. The dial on this
vintage breitling is SO fun to look at. All of those raised
markers, along with orange hands, against that super cool
dial, look AMAZING ! The outer part of the dial is outstanding
with all of the numbers, and hash marks also. What a GREAT
looking case with this one by the way too. That shape is
something else, with all of the edges, mixed with rounded
sections. It's something we don't see much on many of
today's newer models. However, it's nice to see how many
of these watches like your Breitling, and Heuer had such
fantastic looks, or designs. They REALLY stand the test
of time imo, and actually take on, if not surpass much of
what we see today. I think the new strap works unbelievably
well on the Breitling also. It has the accents, and it has a
cool, comfortable look as well. Just like the mesh on your
Calculator it mixes past, and present together flawlessly.
These are two special watches Tom ! Congratulations on
adding this Breitling to your collection ! Enjoy !!!! Incredible
