| Saw an ad in a watch magazine for the new Ocean 7 LM-1 this past weekend. You can change bezels on it, and change the look of the watch. Thought it was interesting since we had just talked about a Technomarine last week that Mark (Andrema) showed. You could change straps, and add various outer casings to the watch !..This LM-1 here allows you to actually remove, and add bezels !..What do you think about interchangeable bezels ?..Is this something we might start seeing more of now ? Got this picture from.. http://www.ocean7watchco.com/cs2/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=67____________________________________ | |

It's pretty interesting !..Maybe we will be seeing this more, and more. Then later on people will be picking up various aftermarket bezels for their watches, in a similar way to how they pick up different straps ! ____________________________________

| I seem to mention the Noah Tsunami alot, now that I actually own the mil dial version. But seeing this interchangeable bezel (insert) concept is nothing new to Seiko modders. When I ordered my Tsunami, Noah was so generous as to include free the stealth darkened insert along with the regular insert, which I really liked! Will this concept be seen more in the future? There are so many new models arriving on the watch scene, with 'innovations' many fellows have never seen before. It's just that the TSUNAMI watch has so many positive aspects going for it, once one accepts the Japanese pedigree (from the venerable Seiko 6309 model from the late 1970s). | |

I think many of these ideas like the interchangeable bezels, definitely stem from Seiko, along with modding in general imho Thian ! ..Hopefully concepts like you are talking about with Noah's stealth, and regular inserts will be seen more in the future. In my opinion Seiko, and of course Noah's creations, including the Tsunami, are pioneers with all of this. It will probably take years for other watch companies to catch on, but it will be fun to see if it happens ! Doc, maybe there is a chance we will be seeing this from a bunch of watch companies ! They might be smaller companies, or even bigger companies at some point. I guess we will have to wait and see sir ! Thanks alot everyone ! ____________________________________

Been down that road, no dice. I did get the specs and am searching for one. In addition to the insert, I want to get another Tsunami bezel in brushed SS. ____________________________________ M A R K
