| Love that dial Gary! Your collection is so impressive. Where do you send your watches for repair/service? | |

John, Thanks for the great compliment!! MY Railroad collection is my pride and joy, thanks for noticing. I have used a few different watchmakers...for this one I chose an 'expert' to send it to instead of my regular guy. Check out http://www.accutrons.com/ . The results seem great but he had it for 8 months, was not cheap, (again not worried about price for work done was OK) and only answered my phone calls and emails once. Other than my worry about getting a rare watch back, the final product was worth the slight hassle. PM me if you want to know my regular guy...who is pretty decent as well. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | Looks like this one came out GREAT Gary ! ..I would say this Ultronic is ULTRA-Cool by the way !!! ..The white dial is SO sharp, and the way all of the numbers contrast is just right. It's nice to be able to see such BIG numbers on a watch as well. Kind of shows you how watches were years ago, and how a watch like this was supposed to be. The hands are the show stoppers on the dial if you ask me with the heart shape there on the hour hand, along with second hand. Also think the case, and crystal have that awesome vintage feel. However, it's the movement which after being serviced just looks ASTONISHING ! Seems like it was well worth the wait because this movement really does look new now. You can see all of the detail in the metal and enjoy ALL of the details like that tuning fork you mentioned ! ..AMAZING job, AMAZING movement, AMAZING watch !!!! I'm glad you have this one back now Gary ! ..ENJOY it sir ! ____________________________________ | |
