Yowza Jaw !!!!
..Congratulations on adding this DEVASTATING Doxa to your collection !
This is one of those watches, or (Timepieces)
that automatically has "Legend" status if you
ask me sir. It's got the history, patented looks, quality, and just all around SUPER smooth, AND
cool theme. It's one of those watches, and brands that I think many many brands have borrowed
themes from to add to their own watches. Whether it's those CRAZY GOOD markers, EXCELLENT
looking hands, case shape or bracelet. You have seen hints of Doxa"s watches like this Sub 5000T Sharkhunter within other watches out there for a long tome now. Now to have one of the originators,
or "the" originator of such a look, must genuinely be VERY enjoyable !!! ..It's actually hard trying to
pick a place to start first with this one TOO. Each, and every part of your Doxa here has a distinct
feel about it, and it's pretty TERRIFIC trying to find a "best" place to begin. To tell the truth, it
seems like each aspect about this one is equally as cool, which is you guessed it, pretty cool !
Guess we'll just start with the dial here with your new watch. Again it comes back around to those
markers. They have that "legendary" style to them, which Doxa has evidently used for some time
now. The wide square-like shape is just EPIC in my opinion. It's extremely aggressive, and lets you
know that THIS is a watch that sets itself apart, whether deep under water, or on dry land. Also it
has such a ground breaking look, that we again have seen other watch brands use similar looks with
their markers. Guess that is saying something about the original, when others like it enough to follow
in the same footsteps. It's really pretty OUTSTANDING again to have an original though in this
case ! Another NICE part about these markers is how the
lume section of the marker is neatly sandwiched right in the middle of the steel part of the blocks. In addition the differing sizes of
them is neat too. Especially seeing those larger ones at the 12, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. THEY
are extra AWESOME imho !!! Even enjoying how the markers rise up in that patented way to
almost climb off of the dial surface like that. Again this is one of those themes, that even if not
entirely used in the same way by other companies, you at least see some inspiration, or similar
feel to what these here actually are. Moving to the hands is just as fun here with this one sir. The
width of the hour, and minute hands reflects the look that the markers have. They slice through the
deep blue dial in a very aggressive style, takes no prisoners. I love the second hand as well here
with that similar block at the end there. What an ingenious touch, and yet another aspect that
you see with other watches also. Going back to the dial for a second Jeffery !
The
blue that is on this is simply ASTOUNDING ! Many times we see blue dials, but this one separates itself from the
pack because of the
deep blue color on it. Almost reminds you of exactly what the ocean looks like !
What an exceptional job of deciding to go with this color by Doxa.
In EVERY way, it shows off
what this dial has to offer. From the legendary markers, and hands, to the writing, and hash marks,
this dial is AMAZING. However, the amazing theme just continues onto the bezel, and case with this
watch. The saw like shape on this bezel is SPECTACULAR. Always wondered how Doxa came up with
this here. Plus it's neat how you have the inner part with hash marks, along with the outer part on
there with it's shark/saw-like teeth. It simply can't be beat, and neither can the shapeof the case
on this one sir. It's almost like this watch was created by aliens or something.
On the one hand
it could be the hull on a ship, and on the other it looks like a UFO ! The shape, together with the
bezel literally looks like two different cases stacked on top of eachother, and the brushing sets off
the look even MORE ! Have to add that the bracelet is equally as beautiful as it blends perfectly
into the EPIC watch case. Oh, and the crown is GREAT too, as it seems to mirror the saw-like
teeth on the bezel's edge ! ..Yowza once again Jeffery ! What A LEGEND here !!! Congratulations
on getting your Doxa Sharkhunter ! ..I really hope you will enjoy it !!!
