Eric, you have done it again sir !
THIS Doxa is simply TOO COOL as you said !!! What
a GREAT addition to your collection. It fits right in with your other uniquely cool watches,
and mixes ALL of the elements together flawlessly. From AWESOME looks, to that exceptional
comfort you mentioned. This is DEFINITELY one to dig here !
Even the box/cylinder that
the watch comes in is phenomenal. Holy COW ! ..One of the more outstanding features on
this watch though, HAS to be the markers though Eric. It's always amazing to see those
patented square markers. The three dimensional look of them as they rise from the dial is
epic. Also love how the
lume section of the markers is front, and center as well. The wayDoxa carries that marker look over to the top of the second hand is exceptional too. There
really isn't any detail that Doxa didn't cover, or think of. Plus the style in which they do
things is unique, and different, so you can see, and enjoy things even more with this watch.
If the markers weren't enough fun, then the hands are definitely going to make anyone
smile imho. The skeletonized GMT is off the charts. What a NICE idea there ! ..It's not like
every other GMT hand, and it honestly fits into the especially cool theme of the watch. Same
goes for the other hands, from that second hand with it's square at the end, to the contrast
of the
minute hand, and hour hand here. Can't say enough about the whole dial actually !!!The markings, as well as though cross-hair like lines near the center of the dial are details that
catch your eye, while adding even more attitude, and character to the watch. One of my
favorite parts of the watch has to be that inner bezel ! ..The combination of
black, and orangeis one of, if not THE BEST out there on watches. It's terrific seeing them used together, andthe way in which Doxa gives you that half, and half theme on the inner rotating bezel is simply
BEYOND cool Eric. Once you leave the dial to look at the bezel, you find that it too, is easy on
the eyes. Have to add, that it's REALLY interesting how there are TWO bezels on this watch.
One an inner rotating, and one, an outer rotating bezel ! ..INCREDIBLE stuff right there ! Yowza !!!
It's not every day that you see two bezels on a watch, let alone two particularly NICE ones like
these together in one place. Was always stunned by how Doxa did the outer bezels. Between the
saw-like outer edge with it's sinister look, and theme. To the multiple layers of rings, and accent
colors. The bezel is SO great that you could end up focusing on it so long, that you might forget what time it is !
Actually you could probably say that for ANY part of the watch. This case
for instance, with it's sled-like, flying saucer type design is a masterpiece. You can't help but
recognize that this one is a DOXA. A genuine legend to watch people like us, as well as people
who know about diving. Honestly, the bracelet by itself says "Doxa". TREMENDOUS to look at
with it's bead-like style, as well as super comfortable as you mentioned sir. ..The look of this
watch is unmistakeable, and all of the vintage themes, along with additional modern twists with
this particular model only make it BETTER, and of course COOLER ! Congratulations on adding yet
one more OUTSTANDING watch to your collection Eric. This really is one to enjoy !!!
Incredible Doxa, along with PICS here !
