Made an offer on this bad boy Longines

I came across this early '70s Longines today and HAD to make an offer on it. The movement is an 'adjusted'
high-beat (28800) cal. 6651. I love the interesting cushion case. It needs a little cleaning up but looks to be
in fine shape for being almost 40 years old. I may not hear back for a day or two. I'm not holding my breath
because my offer is less that half his (ridiculous) asking price.

Oh boy Tom, that really is an interesting case ! Actually the entire watch
is VERY interesting I think. The dial, bezel, case-shape, and decorated
movement are astonishingly NICE sir. The side views really show how
outstanding everything is with the curves of the case, along with the
extremely detailed, and TALL bezel too. That Longines emblem which
is cut into the rotor takes this one up yet another level also. Wow !

cool watch, got an omega look dial and the case is like nothing ive seen, from the side view the bezel reminds me of a marathon! Sorry Tom but the guys thinks he has something worth much more than most are will to pay!!
