Found this on the Japan Yahoo auction and won it. 42mm wide to 45 at the crown, this solar version sports the V145 module, good for up to 6 months reserve and +-20secs/month. Going 'Eco-Green' seems to be the trend now, with batteries seen as a negative factor. So, Seiko has jumped on the bandwagon and is issuing more Solars..

You are on a real roll Thian, and it's awesome hearing about these new Seikos like this one hear. Not only does it have the solar theme happening, but the design is really impressive TOO ! The metallic, beadblasted look on the bezel is very nice, and so is the whole raised number, and marker theme. Looks like the dial even has a cool reflective texture also. Congratulations ahead of time sir. ..Can't wait to see your pics when you receive it !

John, they retail for the mid $300usd.......call me if you are interested!! I can always find another on the Japan auctions
