You are right Thian, this new Dagaz-Zero is a DEFINITE winner !
Jake really
did an incredible job putting these together that is for sure.
..You really get
the signature Seiko feel, and look, but with a that Mega COOL Noah/Jake finishing.
It's pretty remarkable no matter how you look at it sir. Congratulations to you !
By the way, really like the the case on this watch. ..You did a great job going
with the satin brushed case first of all ! It has this uniquely cool foggy look with
the steel. It's not bead-blasted, and it's not polished, or brushed. Kind of like a
combination look of brushed, along with bead-blasting almost. In any case, it
really looks SPECTACULAR. ..Besides the satin case finish, the shape of the
case is excellent also. What's so nice about it, is the fact that it mixes in these
soft, streamlined lines, and angles. That subtle way in which it bends outward
is just enough to get your attention. At the same time, it only adds to the feel
of the watch, and doesn't take any attention from the bezel. Also like how this
case brings in the traditional, AND the modern ! There is that classic style to how
the case is shaped, but then it somehow manages to look very modern at the
very same time. Really is a classy, yet stealthy kind of watch that automatically
becomes timeless imho Thian. Another part of the watch that stands out, HAS
to be the bezel ! That waffle/diamond square pattern is THE BEST, and just the
way the two levels of it seem to be stacked, helps the effect become even
more enjoyable. It's an eye-catching aspect about the watch, and it kind of
helps set the tone for the entire watch. Plus just like Alan already pointed out,
it's neat how the bezel, as well as the super sporty strap have that very same
waffle pattern.
It is the little things like that, that help push a watch above,
and beyond what we usually would expect to see, and make a watch new,
exciting, or timeless. Have to mention also, that the top of the bezel is terrific
as well. You have that classic combination of numbers, along with markers
which is perfect. Then the way it helps to bring you in to the dial is genius aslo.
There even seems to be a cool connection between the polished waffle-like
outer bezel, and the polished chapter ring ! Wow, now that's TOO GOOD sir !
Can't imagine a NICER dial for this watch either Thian. That modern/vintage
mix of dot, rectangle, along with triangle markers is spectacular. Even the
hand shapes, as well as emblem on the dial seem to fit in perfectly, while
also adding in some ingenius sportiness, along with attitude too. Speaking
of attitude, the movement sounds like it will keep this SPECTACULAR Seiko
going for many many years ! Congrats again Thian, and as always ..Enjoy !
Spectacular watch, and picture !
