I dislike the term "grail", but this may be a grail Speedmaster!
Speedmaster Professional ref.145.022
So, you are probably wondering why I would call this a grail...well, it is actually a real NASA issued, Speedmaster that was used in service on space missions! It is the great grandaddy of my 3570.50 "Speedy Moon"!
There is a really cool article on it and how it ended up being owned by a European Astronaut on Hodinkee. Here is the link: http://www.fratellowatches.com/speedy-tuesday-weve-found-an-astronauts-speedmaster-professional/

That is a fantastic watch. The heritage behind the brand and the NASA history really make it something special. I imagine that watch is worth $50K+!

I'm fine with the term. Yes, the watch is for me. . .but that damn crystal needs to be serviced. I don't care if it has been to space and back it is too distracting.
