| This is a nice review that Docwrm (Robert) did over at WatchMen... ****************************************************************************** Accutron Eagle Pilot (Model 26B63) The Accutron Eagle Flight Chronograph was developed to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of manned flight and the 35th Anniversary of Apollo 11 Flight to the moon. The Accutron Eagle incorporates a dual hand "flyback" chronograph which allows for unlimited incremental readings within each chronograph interval. The dual timing hands of the chronograph, one red and one blue, utilize a third push button; located near the 10 o'clock position; to activate the split timing feature. The Eagle Chronograph pays tribute to the lunar module on Apollo 11’s pilot - Buzz Aldrin. As a tribute to Dr. Aldrin; the case back incorporates Buzz Aldrin's signature. Accutron indicates that the watches are entirely Swiss Made. In addition to the Flyback feature, the chronograph times to 1/10 of a second and has a 30 minute subdial.
- Movement: Swiss Quartz Analog
Functions: Date calendar; window display. 30 min; 60 sec; 1/10 sec registers chronograph. Case: Solid Stainless steel. Combination satin/polished finish. Crown: Sport style; screw-down (threaded) with Logo engraved/embossed. Crystal: Sapphire - Anti-Glare treated. Dial: Ivory color. Arabic applied numerals. Luminous 5 minute markers/dots. Minute and split-second subdials for cumulative timing with red hands. Tachometer. Hands: Main: Blue outlined and luminous filled. Precision flyback dual hand – blue base and red (with luminous tip) continuing hands. Case Back: Screw-down style (threaded) with Signature case back honors Buzz Aldrin; pilot of the Apollo 11 Eagle lunar module. Band: 5-element, pin & collar assembly, solid stainless steel in combination satin/polished finish, logo engraved clasp with hidden, spring-loaded, deployant. Water Resistance: 100m / 330ft / 10ATM. Case Size: Diameter without Crowns: 42.00mm. Diameter with Crowns: 44.50mm. Height: 11.50mm. MSRP: $795
Impressions After a post from Yamahaki on July 14, 2007 showing us the watch and multiple posts about its features, build quality, etc. I did a search online for it. Overall, extremely nice watch that was a steal at $203.19 from Overstock during one of their freakish sales that accepted multiple discounts = “$20 coupon + 15% off on all watches = 278.99 - 20 - 41.85 = $217.14 plus an outrageous $2.95 shipping by UPS ground. If someone was also a member of their club then the price dropped another $13.95 to an amazing $203.19.” or 25.6% of MSRP~ Wears well, VERY solid and easy bracelet, readable, very useful flyback feature. They are still available online and run <$300. It’s a great watch with flyback features that would cost what a descent car costs if it were a mechanical. The only downside for me is the integrated bracelet. It’s VERY solid, has loads of features, and is long enough to fit an 8 inch wrist! However, it limits your options for wearing it. There is/was a strap available from Accutron/Bulova that cost $63.33 shipped and was black leather with white contrast stitching that is wearable to 8 inches as reported and comes with an Accutron branded deployant. Pictures from the internet: July 11, 2009 - Two years later: Still loving it and wearing it as often as I wear any quartz - probably worn more than any other quartz I own. Solid, dependable, still on first battery.

| This is a fantastic watch for the price.
I have the black dial version now and have had the cream dial in the past and sold it much to my regret.

Dial texture and what is lumed is different from the cream color version. Hi Max ! That Eagle Pilot couldn't be nicer I don't think, and the black shows off so many neat details it's phenomenal. ..Interesting how the dial texture, as well as lume is different with the two versions by the way Max. ____________________________________
