Thoughts on these two?

I went on a Japanese watch buying binge. I'll get some photos up soon.I decided to try some of citizens newest eco versions and the new Seiko chronograph.I bought this 300m eco.


its a carbon fiber beauty.It uses a cool sliding deployant.



I was also looking at this citizen and ordered it last night.Its a 200m eco diver.No idea on the specs though.every site I looked at had the case from 44mm to 50mm including the crown.The lugs are 23mm so theres a bunch of 24mm strap options.I'm thinking maybe a nato for this one.It should be here in the morning.


now the seiko.They made a new movement,the caliber 8R28.its a 28,800 vph,34 jewel automatic chronograph. this one has a column wheel and a vertical clutch.
I was reading an article in Watch Time about this one.It uses three vertical clutches to run each subdial.This gets rid of messing up the chrono by hitting the
buttons out of sync.Like the uts 600m chrono,the pushers are reverse threaded.I found the movement in the new Velatura dive watch.After doing some digging
for them I found one at a pretty decent price.



that one will be here on friday.Its being shipped from Japan.I wanted seikos warranty for this one.

i like the first diver but all cool watches!

all are cool but the seiko caught my eye...

a dod site had them for 177.00. But the normal price is from 223.00 upto 315.00.
this site has them for 220.00.

These are ALL unbelievably NICE watches !!! That first Citizen
has an extremely aggressive feel about it. The hands look very unique
with that shape. While the markers are Big and blue. The one at 12 o'clock
is especially cool. GREAT bezel as well ! Those screws add a nice touch
also. The second Citizen is stunning imho ! That texturing on the dial
is what jumps out at you right away ! Then the hands and sub-dials with
the blue accents grabs your attention. VERY nice ! Those terrific markers
have a neat futuristic theme happening. While the bezel and case are just
TOO good ! It's nice how the pushers have the same look as the bezel too.
..With the Velatura, this one takes the cake for originality, as well as just
being one MEAN looking watch ! The dial is remarkable imho ! You have
some of the most fascinating watch hands, markers, sub-dials, use of color,
and carbon fiber around. Then you have an especially wicked bezel, complete
with carbon fiber, raised sections, and screws. This look carries over
flawlessly to the pushers and bracelet also. While the movement finishes
everything off with some extra 34 jewel perfection ! WOW !!! These are
REALLY impressive ! Congratulations !!!!

The Eco drive and Velatura are cool! The Seiko case looks thick and the hands on both are awesome
