| So, this is what you traded the Panny for then? IIRC, you said the watch you're getting is OOS at the maker... |

| I think this Steinhart, along with a Formex will be in your collection at some point Alan ! With the mesh on the Steinhart there. I know the regular stainless mesh would look AMAZING, but how do you think a black mesh mightlook with that black dial ?..It might sound odd, but it would be unique, and not much different than an actual black strap on the watch ! ..Just a thought ! ____________________________________ | |

Hot lookin watch, gonna get it eventually. Almost bought it twice since the last time. Other unexpected opportunities just got in the way.

| GET IT! Stop mulling over the watch and buy it. I think it is a great looking watch. If I had a tad bigger wrist I would have gotten it sooner. | |

| Nice watch. I hear that it is designed to self-destruct if put on anything other than leather though. Sad really. |

| Watch is made for leather and you're going to need to learn the fine feeling of a nice thick 5mm leather strap! Just need to get rid of those ugly pre-v buckles and get some bad-ass thick sparta buckles and wear the hell out of it until it fits like a glove! Love me some thick leather!! BJstraps Aka ridinfool aka Brian is my strap maker of choice, he makes them for you not just sends them out to you. pick the color, thread and most importantly the length you want! Back to the watch, SWEET! |

And yes, I want it on a bracelet of some type... Cool - Post some pics of that sucker. Dying to get a better look. BTW: Cali is right - made for leather. Would be Gator/Croc for mine, if I had one.

I didn't mind the strap on the Panerai, it's the WEIGHT issue, I like a watch HEAVY on my arm.... ____________________________________

| A new marketing idea! I will have to offer a weighted leather strap to match the heft of larger watches. I do notice that my bigger watches try to spin around due to the weight so some counter balance may be an idea. BJ |

BJ DUDE, that would TOTALLY WORK! A nice leather or rubber with some NICE stainless integration would ROCK, I wanna see that once you get something on the drawing board! ____________________________________

| i feel the leather makes the watch feel heavier on the wrist! because instead off putting the weight around your wrist its all in the case of the watch and every time you turn your wrist you can feel that bad boy! I buy watches with bracelet and put rubber or leather on them, buy watch with leather and try and find a bracelet! think we just all try to be a bit different than the crowd! |
