You aren't kidding Eric, this watch really IS sweet !!!
..It's like a piece of art !
That shape on the case is especially unique looking with the curves of the steel. Can't
honestly think of any other watches that look like that. Even the mix of stainless steel,
along with the black on the bezel, as well as pushers helps this Ebel stand out. Wow !
You can just tell at times when a watch reaches a high level, and this is it by the looks
of it. The case, that bezel, and of course the dial which masterfully blends sport with
elegance, are all EXCELLENT sir. Hey, and can't forget the movement which is so nice
that you could almost keep the watch upside down all day finding new details to enjoy.
This watch is a piece of art in MORE ways than one Eric. Congratulations on bringing
it home ! ..Can really understand why you have been looking at this one for so long
Eric. Honestly think it has a TON of character ! You just don't see other watches that
look like this, and that's GREAT. It's once again like a piece of art that you get to see
on your wrist. If you take nothing else other than the shape of the case, you could
genuinely be happy imho.
Seeing the overall shape almost reminds you of an hour
glass or something, and the way that the steel seems to flow is unbelievable !!! At
certain places, like from the 1 to 5 o'clock position, or 7 to 11 o'clock position, the
steel is wider. However, the top area from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock, along with the
bottom part of the case from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock have a cool thin look. It's just
beautiful the way Ebel did that. Even how the case transitions into those AWESOME
lugs is outstanding to see.
It another example of the high level that Ebel wants
it's watches to reach I think. However, it's not only the shape of the case, it's the
careful attention put into aspects like the brushing on the case, or even the screws
that show you that this case means business, and can be smooth, as well as tough
at the same time. One more example of this could be the bezel Eric. That cool, almost
carbon-like look is just THE best, and the way it introduces you to the dial is TERRIFIC !
It even helps to guide your eyes to the crown, and pushers which also bring a great
feel of their own to this Ebel sir. Think maybe that is the key, or theme to this watch.
Each individual part works great by itself, and also together as a whole. ..Just take
the dial of the watch as one more example of this. It keeps that deep black theme
going from the bezel, along with the silver of the stainless steel case. On top of that,
the chapter ring gives extra depth, and shows off the detail in the dial. The sunken sub
dials, the waffle-like patterns, the unique markers, sharp hands, and even that amazing
Ebel emblem at 12 o'clock help take this watch to a different level. While later it's the
remarkable movement, along with strap that solidify this Ebel's Excellence !
Congrats once again, and keep enjoying !
Excellent watch, and pictures !
