| I really like the case shot. I believe they are considering other colors besides these. Of the ones shown, I guess I'd prefer the black dial/SS, maybe the blue lume if better pics were available. I think it will be another winner for G. | |

| I just looked at the colors again and noticed the case shots show a chrono, but all the dials are 3 hands. Are there any pictures of the other cases? | |

| I've got my eye on that one myself Ron! Good choice! - BARNBUILDER1 wrote:

Great looking case and nice to see the real thing. It's going to be hard to choose a color combo. The lume dial would be awesome!

It seems there has been no final pricing on the Viperfish yet ! Now that I've said that , the price will most likely come out tomorrow ! Some have been saying below $500, and others have said above $500 ! I guess it's just speculation at this point !....I think the Viperfish will be a popular watch this fall...every version of it seems to be well thought out ! I really like the blue lume dial, black IP with orange, blue, and lime face. As well as the stainless with orange face ! Good stuff !

- I would think 450 although even that seems steep for the modest 300m of the watch when compared to Benarus or Boschett or even DeepBlue. I really like the case but those combo's at least in sketch do nothing for me. Not a fan of PVD at all so only ones I would be interested in is all SS and I have not seen a lume dial yet that had much more than a soft glow even after exteneded charges so staying away from that too. For me if it comes in over 350 there are jsut better options out there.
I agree with you BJD! The pricing needs to be at or under $400 to compete with the other brands.

- i dont know the final pricing yet.......ive heard some rumors, but george has said that he cant give a price yet , because he is not done manufacturing it yet, so until he figures out his final costs, he cant give a price.
i am still looking forward to it, and seeing the final peices and what the price will be, and design wise, i think it is very different looking and i like it.
again, its all a matter of personal preference.
the dimensions are 48 mm wide and 18mm thick..........so its big, but is not san111 big either.......i guess comparison wise it would be the same width as an ocean ghost, but like twice as thick......... It is just too big for me. I wish that it was in a 44mm case like so many other divers these days. I understand that there is a market out there for this sizing, but I worry about the bottom falling out and NFW being left holding the inventory....with that being said, George is a smart business man and will adequately stock the watch....I guess that it comes down to me being envious and wanting one that I could wear! Either way, it is a nice peice to look at and doesn't look like every other watch out there.

| I think George knows who his market is and will price appropriately. You can compare the diver to the AP in that it was designed from the ground up-so I think the pricing will be similar, although higher to account for the bracelet costs. BTW-early pre order for the Sea Devil and the Moray were $350. Most were sold at that price with the leftovers going for $500 in SS finish. | |

| Wow ! This is just great, having the owner of a watch company like NFW talking to us ! Especially in such a genuine and detailed way ! I have always liked NFW watches and seeing the new Viperfish, along with hearing from Mr. Fox directly like this, is ridiculously cool ! It's easy to see why so many people like NFW watches ! I guess a good watch company, needs a good man to run things, and I think they have him ! Thanks for all the great information as well as insight into how things are done there !! | |
