Alans choice but i would look to something alot more vintage looking, make that thing look tough maybe even find a used strap! alot of hot strap makers out there and that guys isnt bad for 60 bones! I like the straps where the guy finds some older leather, be it a bag, boots just anything with some charisma to it!

You're the expert on Panni straps. I just ran across them and thought they looked to be good quality for a descent price. Personally, I'd look for an old flight jacket leather strap or an old BB glove leather strap - but that's just me.

If I change from the black rubber I want something THICK and Nasty on there but really broken it too, not all stiff.

no expert Doc but i'm with you i dig those straps made out of baseball gloves and bet if you could find an old thick flight jacket it would make an awesome strap!! Know a guy down in LA and he gets alot of stuff out of BMW and other german made cars, guess the leather is real good! In the end it's got to be Alans choice but that doesnt mean we have to quit trying to spend his money!!
