"Be true to your school..."

So, I gotta announce that my old high school's boys basketball team, Bishop Heelan of Sioux City, just won
the Iowa Class 3A (of 4) basketball championship for the third consecutive year. No other current high school
in the state has accomplished a "three-peat," regardless of Class.



The championship team from two years ago featured a 6'9" and 6'7" front line, while no starter on this year's
team was over 6'4".

Last year both the boys and girls basketball teams won the state championships in 3A. And two years ago, the
football team won the 3A state championship.

When I attended, the enrollment was triple what it is today and we never won anything!

Congrats to the boys in blue!

What an impressive accomplishment !!! ..Really seems like the school is used to
winning those championships by the sound of it. Congrats once again to
