A German came to visit today ... Stowa Flieger Chronograph!

I don't get surprised too often, but this watch surprised me! I have owned a Stowa Flieger 2801 as well as Marine Original, and this wach surprised me with its size. It is thicker than the others (which is a good thing) and as a pretty nice/substantial wrist presence.

Beauty - Looked at the no logo 3-hand version for a long time but never bit.

Incredible to see all of the hard work with the craftsmanship in this
one Mark ! Stowa seems to have outdone themselves once again.
I mean just take the case here. That is a solid piece of steel, AND
it's pretty substantial. However, then they take things to a really
high level with the brushing, along with overall care taken to make
the watch as good as it can be. Whether you are looking at it head
on, from the sides, or from the back, this one impresses you !
It's not just the case, but every part that is like this TOO ! Even
the pushers, along with crown flow nicely with the case, and also
share that same careful, and detailed brushing. Each circular wave
adding more, and more personality to the watch. ..Something else
that adds a great deal to the watch is the dial. If you were going to
think about what an aviation watch dial should look like. This would
be it ! Each marker, number, and hand is perfect. ..Plus that sub-
dial is AWESOME as well ! Then again, it is a Stowa, so I guess
it is expected. Still it's GREAT to see ! What a beautiful case, dial,
movement, strap. Everything Mark ! Congrats, and ENJOY !

Really sharp, Mark! Too thick for me, though...I'd be banging it into things every day (old-age clumsiness!).
