Yesterday, we had a small family gathering to celebrate the birthdays of my wife and daughter. In attendance was my father-in-law. To the best of knowledge, I do not think he has any clue of my interest in watches beyond knowing Stephanie and I exchange watches on various holidays. As you all may know, I notice watches; including my father-in-law’s two tasteful selections.

At some point during the conversation, my mother-in-law told my father-in-law to tell Stephanie about his watch story. . .
On the way down to Salem, my mother and father-in-laws stopped by Starbuck’s. Reaching into pay for their beverages, the barista asked my father-in-law why he was wearing two watches. He had no idea. She said that would be the highlight of her day.

Apparently the strap watch was so far up his wrist and under his sleeve that he had not noticed he was wearing a watch when he also put on the bracelet watch.
I great laugh and showed him "The Lounge" to provide some additional context as to why the story was so humorous to me. . . . Yes, I know. I didn’t happen unless there were pictures. . .

Great story Chris!

It is funny how things like that happen when you least expect it! Very cool!
