| I bought a Hadley-Roma 'homage' of the Breitling "Pilot" bracelet for my vintage Breitling. The only thing is, the bracelet has three rows of brushed and two rows of polished links. Since the Breitling's cushion case is all brushed, I decided to mod the bracelet accordingly. Here is how the bracelet looked before surgery: I had some 3M Scotch Brite scouring pads around the house so got a new one of those out, along with some Post-It notes to mask off the surrounding brushed links (to avoid screwing up the perfectly brushed links). Using a fair amount of 'elbow grease,' I brushed the target row lengthwise numerous time for about 3-4 minutes each. Due to the curving of these links, the newly-brushed surfaces faded to polished near the ends, so I supplemented the process by removing the masking, holding the bracelet in my left hand, and manually "scrubbing" the link edges as much as I could. They're still not perfect, but unless you examine the bracelet carefully you wouldn't notice the difference. | |

| You did a SUPER job on that bracelet Tom !!! ..It's SO great how you can transform the look of something like this. It matches up with the case on this watch, AND it looks like it was always that way ! That Scotch Brite works wonders. Now you can enjoy the watch even more. Plus you know that you are able to do this now, so that's EXTRA cool ! NICE work sir !!! ..GREAT pics as always too ! ____________________________________ | |

| Hmmm - not bad not bad at all. I didn't think the diagonal links would work on this one. But the brushed finish makes all things equal. Nice job!
